The Whisky Ambassador program is the UK's first accredited whisky training course. Specifically designed for the hospitality industry, it gives staff the knowledge, skills and confidence to talk to customers about Scotland's national drink, helping to improve the guest experience and increase sales. Carl Dubé and Les frères Spirit invite you to live the experience (in English) in Scotland at Isle of Raasay Distillery.

THE EXPERIENCE

The training will take place on Wednesday May 6 at the Isle of Raasay distillery offices in Edinburgh at 23 Manor Place.

On Friday May 8, we're off to Isle of Raasay distillery, where you'll enjoy luxury 4-star accommodation and a 3-course dinner.

On Saturday May 9, after breakfast, a guided tour of the distillery and a tasting (in English) await you. Afterwards, those wishing to continue their trip to Scotland will do so. For others, it's back to Edinburgh.

Wednesday, May 6

• 8:45: Delegates arrive at 23 Manor Place, Edinburgh, Scotland, EH3 7DX
• 9:00: Whisky Ambassador training begins
• 12:30: Lunch break
• 13:00: Whisky Ambassador training continues
• 16:00: Exam
• 18h00: Dinner (optional)

Thursday, May 7

• Day off

Friday, May 8

•   8:00: Departure from 23 Manor Place, Edinburgh, Scotland, EH3 7DX
• 12:00: Lunch and visit to Eilan Donan Castle (optional)
• 14:00: Departure for Isle of Raasay Distillery.
• 14:45: Arrival at the ferry
•   TBC: Arrival at Borodale House (Isle of Raasay distillery) - free time
• 18:30: Three-course dinner

Saturday, May 9

• Between 8.00am and 9.30am: Breakfast
• 10:00: Distillery tour and tasting
• 12:00: Ferry
• 12:30 : For those returning to Edinburgh, we hit the road
• 18:00: Return to Edinburgh

Inclusions/Exclusions

The registration fee includes :

• 1 day's training at Isle of Raasay Distillerie's Edinburgh offices at 23 Manor Place, excluding lunch on Wednesday May 6
• 1 certification for those who pass the exam.
• 1 night at Borodale House, the Isle of Raasay Distillery's 4-star luxury hotel on Friday May 8
• Three-course dinner at Borodale House on May 8
• Breakfast at Borodale House on Saturday May 9
• Distillery tour and tasting May 9

The registration fee does not include :

• Airline tickets
• Seat selection
• Mealtime drinks
• Lunch outside Isle of Raasay offices and distillery
• Cost of optional itinerary activities
• Travel insurance coverage
• Accommodation in Edinburgh on Thursday May 6 and 7
• Transport from Edinburgh to Isle of Raasay and back to Edinburgh

Accompanying person

If you wish to be accompanied by your spouse to Isle of Raasay distillery, an additional fee of $300 will be charged.

Transportation Edinburgh-Isle of Raasay-Edinburgh

* As some participants will wish to continue their trip to Scotland following their stay at Isle of Raasay distillery, transport to Isle of Raasay will be arranged on a case-by-case basis and may require an additional fee, if required. Some participants prefer to arrange their own transport to travel to Scotland from Raasay.
